G plus K 143: Kaelin turns 1

The day before Kaelin's birthday...Friday, November 29th, 2013.

Gerald had an away game in Kentucky this weekend, and the team had to head out on Friday afternoon. Gerald was sad he was not going to be able to be with Kaelin on his birthday, first birthday at that, but we planned what we would do instead. For one, Kaelin and I went to see Gerald off, and Gerald told me to Skype him as soon as Kaelin wakes up on his birthday morning. We also planned a birthday celebration for Kaelin on Sunday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAELIN!!! Saturday, November 30th, 2013

Today we had a full day planned. It started out with me singing Happy Birthday to Kaelin once he woke up, and then Skyping his dad. After, I had to get him ready to head out to Memphis for his 1yr photos. As Kaelin gets older, taking photos gets more challenging for Kaelin does not stay still, but my dad and I managed to get him to stay still long enough for the photographer. After the photos, we had to head home so I could start the cooking for Kaelin's birthday celebration.
