3mo Check up

I am proud to say my baby is doing well, and is a healthy baby, being well taken care of by his parents!  Not my words, but the pediatrician's.  (Pats self on the back..lol)  Kaelin was suppose to have the shots he got on Monday at two months, but something happened with the scheduling so he is a month behind.  His appointment on Monday was around the time he is usually sleep, so towards the end he was getting upset because he needed a nap, it definitely did not help he had to get shots.
At three months Kaelin:
-is 24.5 inches
-weighs 13 lbs 14 oz
-and his head circumference is 15 3/4
Kaelin's measurements this go round puts him in the 75 percentile range.  Kaelin's pediatrician said, "Oh he is starting to get tall! Will most likely be taller than dad!"  Before leaving, Kaelin got two shots in both his legs.  It made me so sad to see him scream so loud.  From the time we left and got home, Kaelin was irritated all day from the shots.  Which I was told would happen.  Along with a list of other side effects that may occur.  One of those side effects happen to be a fever.  The next day after I woke Kaelin up from his nap, I felt he was warm.  I checked his temperature and it read 100.5.  I immediately got a tad scared.  I knew that was not extremely high, but it was my first encounter with Kaelin being somewhat sick.  Thank God for the classes Gerald and I took!  I was able to pull out one of the handbooks which helped me to not worry as much.  Any first time mommy understands how I felt.  It seems that I was more worried than Kaelin.  He just wanted to watch television.  Before going to bed his temperature went done, and the next day everything was back to normal.
