On Friday, October 19th, was Gerald's 10 year reunion. It is amazing how time flies once you are out of school. Reflecting back to when I was in high school, those four years did not go by so fast. In fact, the four years seemed like forever until it was senior year, and then Father Time wants to speed it all up. I met Gerald my freshman year of high school in 2000. He was a junior at the time, which makes him two years ahead. We have many great, and some not so great memories of high school that we share. With it all, I am glad that we have all those memories, and years to reflect back on together.

Gerald's reunion was on a yacht in Newport Beach. At first, I was nervous about being on a yacht for four hours, 33 weeks pregnant, with only finger food, but it all worked out, and we enjoyed ourselves. It was great to catch up with a few people from his class that I did know. It was also entertaining to hear Gerald's old classmates reflect on the times they would be in class with him, and Gerald would do nothing but get them into trouble. For those that do not know, Gerald can be entertaining at times, and if you are a teacher trying to teach, that's the last thing you need.
I was glad that Gerald enjoyed his reunion catching up with old friends, mainly his football buddies. We laughed the entire night. Lets see how fast these next ten years go by! Oh wait, I have a reunion in two years. Gosh I am old!
